Quote for the soul....
So this week has been muy interesante so far. It started out with a service dress inspection (which I received zero desrepancies on OH YEAH!) and tests that began on Monday. Now even though Monday's test was a practice test...I didn't see it that way. Oh no sir/ma'am...it was a bonifide test for me. I'm mad though that I received a score less than what I thought I deserved....But it was only practice. So on Tuesday we had three, yes 3 tests that actually counted. UGH! I did fine. It was a bit scary that two of the three tests only had 14, yes fourteen questions...because that meant each one was worth a lot...with that said, on one test I got two wrong answers and that cost me 14 points! YIKES! I did better on the other two tests. I was SO happy at the end of the day on Tuesday. Woo hoo! I felt like I was literally skipping down the steps and grinning like a cheshire cat when I knew I was in the clear! Yay me!
With yesterday being St. Patty's Day a bunch of my classmates and I went out and had some GREEN Drinks and wings. Yum! It was such a nice time with the exception of our waitress who was not feeling the jolliness of St. Patty's Day. She was an outright GRUMP! So to thank her for her outstanding service, I left her a $.64 tip...oh and on the way out spoke to the manager about his amazing staff member. Thanks GRUMP-O SMURF for your amazing customer service! Next time you don't wanna come to work, maybe you should really re-think whether you want a job or not...I didn't fill out the application for you so don't take your frustrations out on me or anyone else for that matter! Your job is in customer service...so act like it!
There...I'm done :D
The weather here in Alabama has been fairly nice. I can't complain...and even if I did, it wouldn't change so I'd be wasting my time. It has rained a few times, but that's okay because rain is nice every now and then. I think that rain makes us appreciate the sunny days even more. Speaking of rain, my aunt sent me an email with this awesome "Quote for the Soul" attached....check it out...
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning to dance in the rain."

Well I don't know about you guys but I know that I have seen some storms in my life. Sometimes it has been hard to dance instead of wallow in the storm, but as I am getting more grown-up, I am realizing that the storms are what makes me better, they make me stronger and they make me wiser. The storms make me realize that God has brought me through some storms and shown me the beauty of an after-storm. I know that there are more in store for me, but I know that there will always be beautiful after-storm waiting for me....So I hope that instead of waiting for the storm to pass...I can dance during the storm as I await my after-storm...
So in the lyrics of Miss LeAnn Womack.....
During your storm...I Hope You Dance...
Thanks for stopping by....Keisha

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

That first quote was from Bailey. Storm clouds have gathered over here and we are preparing for the rain. We miss you and are glad you have your blog back up and running so we can keep up with you.

One thing about writing, for some, it's a must.
Also, I was led here by the fact that you listed The Five People You Meet In Heaven as one of your favorite reads. I loved that book.
