Awesome weekend!!!

After work on Friday, Jas and I jetted off to VA to visit some of our good friends. We stayed with Dennis and Brenda and their adorable twin sons Jay and Craig...oh and also their pups Husker and Buck. They were so hospitable and made us very comfortable in their home. Thanks guys! We arrived late Friday night so we didn't do anything except for catching up and watching a little tizz-ube before turning in. On Saturday, we had a nice cook out and another one of our friends we know from Florida came over with his son...also my good friend Craig came over too! YAY! It was so nice to see him!!! I also ran into my old supervisor's wife in the commissary!!! What a small world! Holy COW!
On Sunday, Jason and Dennis ventured off to HOOTERS for wings and football! I'm so glad that Jas got the chance to reconnect with his good friend....it's been so long. While they were out frolicking, Brenda the boys and I hung out at the house, and later on I hung out with some of my friends. I got to see Craig and Rikke who I both know from Germany and Natalie whom I know from Massachusetts. We got some dinner and then went to see Night's in Rodanthe! Oh my WORD, this movie was awesome, but I think it showed only a bit of the full story which is written by Nicolas Sparks. Now short or long, the movie was awesome! Diane and Richard had the perfect on screen spark! Mmmm mmm mmm!!! Check it out if you are looking for a steamy, passionate film! I plan on reading the book to get the full story! Maybe that'll be my next one after I finish The Secret Life of Bees. After a bucket full of tears in the movie, Natalie went home and Craig and I went to his house and carved pumpkins. I haven't carved a pumpkin since I was probably 10 years old. It was fun! We listened to music, and carved....even Chester, Craig's dog, got into carving!
Before we knew it, it was past midnight, so we said our goodbyes and I headed back to Dennis and Brenda's. The next day came quickly and soon we had to say our goodbye's. We got back home at about 4:30 our time...
Today was a busy day at work...double rehearsal UGH! But it made my day go by very fast...now I'm at home and I just put some chicken on the oven and plan to start my homework soon...maybe I'll catch an episode of The Biggest Loser.

Thanks for stopping by....
Keisha

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
