12 miles and counting!!!

Well this past Saturday I had my long run and I did it! I ran my 12 miles! Granted it was on the treadmill since it is so stinkin hot outside, but I did it! Woo hoo! Go ME Go ME (I'm dancing)!

This past week has been pretty uneventful since I've just been home hanging out, but I have managed to get a lot done in the house which is GREAT! I finished my craft room, well almost.....I've finally gotten the chance to display my BARBIES! For those of you who don't know, I've been collecting Special Edition Barbies since I was 8 years old. I started with just the Holiday Barbies, but I have progressed to others. I got some shelves from Lowes and got em' put up! I also got a chance to refresh my creative side and I made some cards. One specific card that I made was for a co worker who is due to go in to deliver her baby via Cesarian tomorrow. I'll be thinking about you Shawna! Here's my room and Shawna's card....
While I was taking pics of my room, Ernie thought he'd get in on a photo op! Sweet boy...
This weekend I am going to Chicago for a family reunion. I am excited to see all of the family that I haven't seen in gosh maybe 5 years....It should be an exciting time...I'll be sure to take some pics.
This post is pretty boring, but my week has been that way, so this is just a reflection of it....I'll try to do something in the next few days so that my next post isn't so boring....!

Thanks for stopping by:)

I too can only say, "Woowww". Know you can say you have accomplished things that others will never do. Such a great goal to accomplish! Keep it up!

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
