1 week and 1 day......
....is too long between blog posts....I can hardly remember what's happened over the last week. I'm gonna go backward, that way perhaps I can remember better.
Today was my second day back at work from my 2 weeks of sleeping in. Oh my gosh! Monday, it was tough to wake up, and because of it I had to skip the gym. I took my stuff and had planned on going to the gym in the afternoon but YEAH RIGHT!!! By the end of the day I was going nowhere but HOME! I got home laid on the couch and watched tv. I didn't cook dinner or anything! I'm a lazy bum, but it felt GOOOOOD!
Nothing much happened today. I went to the gym this morning and had rehearsals up until lunch time.
This past weekend Jason and I went up to the Chicago area for a family reunion. It was a nice trip, but I was hoping to see more family. Many of my cousins that I was excited to see didn't show up:( I had a very nice time though. My Mom, Aunts, Sister, Niece, Jas and I stayed in the hotel next to where some of the activities happened. It was so nice to spend some quality time with them and just catch up. I also got the chance to meet some other family that I didn't know and the best part about it is that most of them live nearby so I will get to see them again soon. Jas took my niece Jacqulyn on her first canoe ride. That is something she will probably never forget. Thanks Jas! Unfortunately, I missed my long (14 mi) run, but I am going to do it this Sunday:) Here are some pics!

On Thursday Jas and I visited the St. Louis MUNY which is one of the world's oldest and largest outdoor theatre's (check it out http://www.muny.org/) and we caught Miss Saigon. It was a very nice time. The sky threatened showers and it even spit a little bit, but not much. It was such a cool scene even outside the theatre. There were theatre-goers there enjoying a picnic dinner prior to the start of the show and musicians outside doing their thing too! We will definitely be making another trip soon.
On Wednesday I went up to St. Elizabeth's Hospital to visit my friend Shawna....remember I mentioned that she was due to have a baby?!? Well they had an 8lb bouncing baby boy and his name is Miles Terrence Kuebler. Congratulations Shawna and Matt!!
Tuesday, I don't think I did anything besides go to the gym and sleep....ahhhh....sleep. Isn't it wonderful?!?
Okay so I hope that my next post isn't NEXT week, in fact, I hope that it's soon. Thanks for stopping by:)

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
