In 6 days...

I will get to see my family YAY! I can't wait! They are all coming down for a 4th of July celebration and for my Mom and Step-dad's 10th wedding anniversary! Congratulations to you guys!

Well we got some good news yesterday....Jason got picked up for promotion! Way to go Jas!!! Congrats to you! We went out to the Cheesecake factory to celebrate. The food there is ridiculously good! Oh my goodness. I had the Spicy Jamaican shrimp. It came with rice, black beans, plantains and a mango chutney! It was incredible! I know that I will be frequenting the cheesecake factory quite often.

Today I have my first gig with the new group. It is going to be such a long day! We have 4 sets tonight that will be broken up with talking and prize give-aways and whatever else. Wish me luck! Then tomorrow morning (7am) I am doing my first long marathon training run (8 miles) with the new running club I found. After my run, I'll have to rush home and get changed and head to the base because my group is going to Kansas City for a gig on Sunday. Then we come back on Monday, and Jason and I are going to the Cardinals-Mets game! Needless to say, I have a pretty full weekend ahead of me. SO...if I don't blog, don't hold it against me...wink wink! I'll definitely write again on Tuesday. So see you then! Thanks for stopping by!

Keisha Gwin,

I finally looked at the blog and it is great. This will be fun to keep up with the Gwin-Goodins. (Bailey says to say "hi") I hope all goes well with your first gig and tell Jason congrats on the promotion. We miss you and look forward to seeing more of what's going on with you guys on your new blog.

Peace out, yo.

What?! that Frandsen man doesn't even comment on his own wifes blog. We miss you so! Your house is beautiful, love the dark wood in the kitchen, and the kitchen is huge, just waitin' for some breakin' in! We'll keep checkin on you superstar!

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
