86 Days....

Until I lace up my shoes and run the USAF Marathon at Wright Patterson AFB!!! Oh my gosh! I can't believe it, 26.2 miles! I registered last week so no turning back now! I found a running club in StL that holds weekly long runs on Saturday's which is great! I won't have to run my long runs by myself. This weekend is the first run...so I'm excited! This weekend is also my first trip with the band. I hope it goes well; it is to Kansas City. Wish me luck!
Today I woke up to a beautiful sunrise. I tried to capture it on camera. Check it out.

Not a whole lot happened today, but I did go to a nice lunch with a couple of lovely ladies from work. I had chicken pot pie soup! I'd never heard of such a thing but mmm it was GOOD! Thanks for a nice time Tanya and Shawna! I got to talk to my good friend Becky again today! Thanks B! You always make me feel better. I didn't work on the house today, but here are a couple pics of the kitchen. Before:

and After:

I think I'm headed up to do a little reading before I turn in. Thanks for stopping by!

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
