1 month and 5 days ago....

I was having the most awesome time at my going away party thrown by my great friends John and Jamie Link! I had such a great time that day thanks to all of my friends who showed up! Thanks to all of you for sending me off right!!! It was a night filled with joy, laughter, tears, music and more laughter! That was definitely the best party I've ever had thrown for me! Here are a few shots from the day/night. Frank, Sam, Brian and Whitney (don't worry y'all, she wasn't really drinkin!)

I have plenty more to share, so if any of you want some photos from the night, please let me know! Thanks again everybody for such a wonderful time...I will never forget it! Now let's flash forward to now shall we?!?

This weekend, Jason's Mom, sister and niece came to visit. So we decided to take a little trip to downtown St. Louis! The weather was perfect...not too hot/humid, and the breeze was just right! We took the Metro Link (which has a stop about 2 minutes from our house) into the city. First we got off at Arch/Laclede's to see the Arch. It is HUGE! I got a couple shots from our trip. I couldn't resist trying to get a couple cool one's of the Arch, and also some of the beautiful park there.

After we left there, we went to Union Station so Jason's Mom could check out the funny and talented crew at the "Fudgery". Mmmm I can never resist a sample of free fudge YUM-O! Here's a guy making the St. Louis Arch with fudge.
After a fun filled day in StL, we went home, relaxed and crashed at about 10. Today, I woke up and made my favorite breakfast for everyone....Pancakes and bacon! MMMMM! Then at about 12, Jason's family headed back to Louisville. We then started on trying to get the house all PRETTI-FIED. We worked on the loft and I worked on my closet some more. I love this closet! It is perfect for me and all my clothes and shoes...that I don't need! Here's a sneak peek at my work in progress. Here's the before....

And after...So...whaddya think? I must say that I really love it! It has come along quite nicely since I unpacked that first box.

Well, I think I'm headed off to bed, I gotta get up in a few hours for the gym! Thanks for stopping by...until next time:)

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
