My first post!
Well hello everybody! As the title says, this is my first post. I decided to online journal/blog because I have moved so much in the past 10 years that I wanted a way for my friends and family to see what goes on with me on an everyday basis. I got the idea from my good friends Becky and Leslie. Thanks guys for the inspiration! A lot has happened over the past couple months and my next few posts will be a recap of one of the most emotional and exciting periods in my life. While I have been so excited to get back to my family while also basking in the excitement of buying our first home, I have been going through a bit of "Friend withdrawal." My friends in Germany were and are some of the best friends a girl could ask for! Thanks to all of you for making my time there so memorable, fun, exciting and unforgettable!! I have been a bit down since I moved (tears included), but thanks to the phonecalls from my good buddy Becky, it has been a bit easier! Thanks B, I love and miss you so much!

I have also gotten to talk to a few other 'Germany' friends...Jamie, John, Mark, Geoff and Derek...thanks to all of you for cheering me up! Well as I re-cap my last month in Germany, I will post and share all the wonderful memories that I have been blessed with! Until then.....
Keisha

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

Welcome to the world of blogging, so far you have done an excellent job! Very artistic! I'll look forward to sharing in your new adventures. By the way, your new house is so Illinois! Very cute, reminds me a lot of our time there before you! It will take time but you will find the little things that will draw you in and make you love the area. Just not the tornado season! Yikes
I love you Keisha! It's awesome that you have joined 'our world of blogging'. Leslie beat me to the punch at being the first to comment.... argh! I guess I'll forgive her!
I miss you sooooooo much. Come back... please!
