4th of July, another gig, LOTS of family and the best friend I could ever ask for!
The day after my sister, nieces and nephew arrived, the rest of the family began arriving. Once everyone arrived and got settled, we had a total of 14 people in the house! 5 adults and 9 children:) There was a house full of love and, ahem...excitement. On July 4th, my mom and step dad celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary! Congratulations guys, I love you! Since I had a gig on the 4th, we all decided to grill out on the 5th instead of the 4th. My gig went alright....but as I said before, I'm still getting to know the group. The fireworks were pretty good for a small town...but I was working so I only got to see a few.

On Saturday we got up and started cooking right away. Our tummy's were preparing for yummy spaghetti, potato salad, ribs, hot dogs, burgers brats and greens! There's nothing like a good ole' BBQ. Today has been a bit calm. Both sisters and the kiddos left to go home, and we made a trip to Lowes to buy a mailbox, a garage door opener and a few shelves. It's been pretty uneventful, but pretty relaxing too. I kinda want to go out and get some cardio in, but it is so hot out so I don't know.
Have I told you guys how much I love my girlfriend Becky?!? If not, I'll tell you now. She is such an awesome and genuine friend. I have never met anyone like her, and she seems to know me inside and out. She knows if something is bothering me even if she can't see me. I feel like I can tell her anything and she will not judge me. We have shared so many things together, and I miss her like crazy! I can't wait to see her again. One more thing that I can add to my "why I love Becky so much" list is that she is SO THOUGHFUL! I've always known that she was thoughtful, but this takes the cake! As some of you may know, I have been a bit down since moving mainly because I miss my friends so much! Well....good ol' Becky assembled a "cheer up package" for me and included were 15 nice little notes from my buddies back in Germany and was also a very special note from Becky. A huge thank you to Paul, Clay, Whitney, Ron, Amy M., Brenna, Julie, Frank, Meredith, Tom, Derek, Gail, Jerome, Courtney, and Jeremy for the pick-me-up notes that you sent. It means the world to me!!

I think I'm signing off for now, but will write again soon! Thanks for stopping by.!

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

I love you!

AAWWWW darn, Becky invited us to add in a note and I missed the deadline. You should know that we love and miss you too! LOVE the black and white sparkler shot, very creative.
Becky is soooo sweet...i'm so glad you got a pick-me-up, John and i miss you too and TnG has to put a great deal of effort everyday to NOT talk about you ALL the time so Courtney and the rest of us don't feel so bad but it is so challenging becuz the best memories involve you and everything that is done now is just not the same without you We luv and miss ya
