Friendship.....
"A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked." -- Bernard Meltzer.
I heard someone once say that we are born into a family and are sort of chosen by them, but friends are the family we choose on our own. Throughout my time in the Air Force (11.5 years), I have had such a pleasure meeting and enjoying the friendships of so many. I can't say that I've kept in touch on an everyday basis with everyone, but it seems that when we catch up again, it's as if time stood still....and we pick up right where we left off. So here's a shout out to some of my fabulous friends! I love you all and miss you all so much! Thanks for being there for me when I needed you. Thanks for lending a shoulder when I needed one to cry on. Thanks for listening to my whiny, bellyaching when things weren't going my way. Thanks for the advice you've given me. But most of all thank you for being you! I will never forget you and I hope that I can repay you for all that you've done for me!
Me and my bestest buddy Becky! I miss you!
My good pal Craig! Gosh I miss working with you and just hanging out!
Good Ol' Mark! I miss you and your wonderful family to bits!
Hi Julie! Long time no talk! I hope you are doing great!
Frances...it's amazing how quickly we clicked! I look forward to our next hang out! Thanks for all the talks!! Miss you!

Geoff! Can you believe that we met 10 years ago? I hope that you come here so that we can hang out again!
John, Jamie and Evan...what can I say about you guys except that I love the crap out of guys! I can't wait to get the chance to hang with you guys more!
Beautiful Whitney! Please come here! Tell Josh to cross-train!

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
